Don't get stuck out in the suburbs or one of the northern beaches where there is nothing to see and do, stay close to town (but not in the center of town - too noisy at night) and have a fantastic visit to Cairns.
Located approximately 1.2 kilometers from the center of the Cairns CBD, this is ideally located so as to be away from all the City night time noise but close enough to be an easy 20 minute stroll (or 5 minute car ride) from all the shops and the famous Esplanade coffee shop / restaurant precinct.
A 1 bedroom, fully self contained apartment at Grosvenor in Cairns is an ideal choice for your holiday accommodation. All the comforts of home! Standard occupancy is 2 guests but a 3rd guest can be accommodated by the use of an extra bed ($25 per night for extra guests).
The apartment contains a full kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, stove top and all required crockery, glasses cutlery etc for up to 6 guests). A clothes washer is also fitted. Bench top Halogen oven, rice cookers and electric Wok's are also available.
The Living Room contains a Dining Table and a 5 seat lounge/chaise which provides plenty of room to spread out in front of the large LED LCD flat screen TV which displays 10 Foxtel (Cable TV) and 20 digital free to air TV stations. There is also a DVD/CD/Micro sound system connected with iPod connectivity.
The bedroom is completely separate and can contain either a Queen Bed or two single beds. If a 3rd guest is to be accommodated on an extra single bed this can be placed either in the bedroom or in the rear corner of the large living area. The bedroom has built in robes and an iron, ironing board and clothes dryer rack is provided.
The separate bathroom has a walk in shower and guest amenities welcome 'pak' is are provided (shampoo, conditioner and soap). All bathroom contain a hair dryer.
Full refrigerated air-conditioning is provided along with FREE WiFi.
A daily service (towel change and rubbish removal) is provided and for guests staying longer than 7 nights, a full service is provided every 7th night (full clean of apartment and complete change of all linen and towels etc).
All facilities at Grosvenor in Cairns are available to guests staying in a 2 bedroom apartment, including FREE WiFi, FREE use of the gym/fitness center (24/7) just across the road, undercover parking, solar heated pool, undercover BBQ/meals area. FREE onsite undercover parking.
Located within 250 meters are an Indian Restaurant, an Italian Restaurant, an alcohol outlet, a convenience store, a Pizza Hut, a Kebab shop, a Chinese Take Away, a Thai Cafe, a Fish & Chip shop, a gourmat Pizza shop, an IGA supermarket (open until midnight), a bakery and a deli.
Public Transport in Cairns is available via the SunBus public bus service. There is a bus stop 150 meters away on the Highway and guests can get into the center of the City for a couple of dollars in about 10 minutes. There is also now a new bus service, the City Explorer. You can buy a 24 or 48 hour ticket and hop on and off as many times as you wish to. A 24 hour ticket costs $35 per adult ($60 for a 48 hour ticket) and a child ticket (5 to 16) costs $20 for 24 hours or $30 for the 48 hour ticket. There are also Student, Pensioner and Family tickets available.
The managers at Grosvenor in Cairns live on site and reception is open from 8 am until 6pm Monday to Saturday and from 8 am to 12 pm on Sundays and all QLD public Holidays. Always available for information and advice.

Entering and exiting building after 9pm must be done quickly and quietly. After hours call out fees will apply for disturbances and re entry to building.
Guests are not required to clean their apartments on departure or strip the bedding, however the apartment should be left in a reasonably clean state at departure with the air-conditioning and lights turned off.
