Opinie o innych obiektach tego gospodarza
Apartment was unavailable due to unexpected building reformation but owner offered me another apartment with similar characteristics and 200 euro discount on booking price. About the apartment I stayed I can say it has 3 rooms (7 beds in total), 1 kitchen and 2 bathrooms. One with two showers but the other without. I was a bit disappointed because of that. The apartment is in the fifth floor without lift and all windows facing to backyards.
All in all, we had a good stay in Rome and the apartment’s location is beneficial as it is close to Termini station. The neighborhood is not very clean though. There are a few comments we have about the apartment which you might want to take into consideration:
- The air conditioning (in 2 of the 3 rooms) didn’t work and even after contact with Pino (who texted that he would take a look at it), nothing was fixed and we didn’t hear from him anymore
- We found ticks in 2 of the beds and also several blood stains on one of the sheets
- Take into account that 1) The apartment is on the 5th floor and 2) that the showers are really small (so not suitable or comfortable for everyone)
We stayed on Termini's appartment a group of 7 friends on September 2014. There are 3 bedrooms: 1x2 single, 1x1 double + 2 single and 1x 1 double + couchbed. The bedrooms are wide and well illuminated, undoubtly the best of the appartment. The kitchen was pretty good, too little for 7/8 people but ok for t intend to spend much time on it (no living room but good bedroms), the place is ok but 25min to Colosseum not 10, and the cleaning must certainly be improved.
A pleasant stay at Termini area and the owners treated us very well. What you pay is what you get, the flat is well equiped, the pics are real pics of the flat, there is no way to get confussed. A must if you want to do a 1-day trip outside Rome (Florence, Ravenna, Cerveteri ....) and, at the same time, wanna be near the main monuments of Rome.
I am really disappointed by the apartment it wasn't a studio, as he wrote on Wimdu, but a room with a bathroom. The "apartment" was only 15m2 instead of the 40m2 and without terrasse or balcony like he said. And this room smelt humidity a lot. Awful...
I was really angry so Pino hosted me in his apartment who was free for few days. I was in a private room with a private kitchen and bathroom. And then I had to change to an apartment who was further than the one I choose, as least for few days he told me.
Few hours after my arrival he text me that I have to change again the next morning because he finally rented the apartment to other people. So one week after my arrival I was again without apartment. Unfortunately for me Pino was more interested by making money than to find me a solution.
Then he host me for the next nights into another of his apartment, not really great too, and then I found me a room into the apartment of one of his friend... I would have preferred an apartment for myself, but it was probably the best solution because I was tired of moving. After more than a week of moving Pino finally managed to get rid of me...
Great host! Welcoming, helpful and attentive. The apartment is right next to the Vatican which was perfect for my mother and I. Nevertheless staying here is GREAT value for the price! I would stay again!
Location is superb for Vatican side of town touring and the walk to the Metro is easy. Take an umbrella in case of rain. Grocery store is very near and we had everything we needed to make breakfast each day.. Unit is spacious and "cabin-y" - lots of plants and vegetation outside the windows so we had mosquitos and small bug visitors when they were open. Internet service is unusable in unit, have to sit outside to get good service.
First the good things; The apartment is situated in a very nice street with beautiful exotic plants. It is very quit during the night and the beds are good, so you can sleep well and recover for the next day. (Although the walls are really thin but luckily we had quit neighbors.)
But: the apartment smells terribly because of all the moist and mildew….
Of course its not the highest price to pay, but on the internet you see only the best photo's of all four apartments. For instance we did not have a couch nor a cooker hood (so it was really uncomfortable to cook our own meals.) And when you stay for ten days you get only one towel, so you better bring your own. The washing machine works well, but there is no place to dry your clothes.
All of this: No problem when you stay only a few days during the summer.
This is a clean, basic, apartment with kitchen facilities located close to the Vatican. It is not luxurious but you are not paying luxury prices. This particular apartment is located in the shade, which may be quite welcome in the summer months but it could be a little dark in the winter.
I recommend printing out a detailed map of the area before you come. Clivo delle Mura Vaticane is a very small street that turns into a set of pedestrian steps located between Via Angelo Emo and Viale Vaticano. You should be physically mobile and comfortable with hills to stay in this apartment. There is, however, a bus stop very close just up the hill on Viale Vaticano which is very convenient to the Vatican Museum, St. Peter's, Piazza Cavour, and, with bus transfers, the rest of the city. Once you figure out how it works, the apartment becomes quite accessible.
Pino was an accommodating host.
Good value for money, the apartment is very centrally located, but it is five stairs up. values (Pino) is very helpful. If you want to use their money for other things than luxurious accommodations so are the apartment a great choice
